Just always remember that people remember how you make them feel and not what you tell them in any marketing campaign you create. “Don’t just mention who you are and how great your company is. Share why you care so much about what you’re doing. Share your backstory, your life theme, or your defining moments,” Li Sam advised in an interview for the Alaska News Desk.

2. Provide real value

Learn what your users truly want and give it to them as easy as possible. It shouldn’t take them 3 clicks to get to information that you promised them. Make the user experience as smooth as possible. When you start giving rather than selling, your return on investment grows. People will start helping you out. This is when partnerships start. When she ran Startup Grind’s Medium publication, she managed hundreds of writers which included New York Times best sellers and the most famous entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. How did she get to bring all these people together to write for the publication? She offered them a place where their words would get read, and it worked. Find an underground conversation

“Tap into a conversation already happening on Twitter. Find hashtags that are relevant to your hashtag. For example, one of the campaigns I launched was around education. We looked for other hashtags that folks were talking about in our niche. We found out that the majority of teachers and educators were using #edchat to share revolutionary education insights that they had learned in conferences, meetings, and books…. It was also perfect that kids were going back to school, so the hashtag #backtoschool was trending naturally. We took advantage of these hashtags and owned it. We participated in every conversation happening and interacted with users across the world.” shared Li Sam.

Work with accounts with large followings

Don’t be afraid to ask for help from others. It might be difficult to reach celebrities who have millions of followers, but there’s more than that. There are micro-influencers and people that really care about the causes you’re trying to push for. “Think ahead and create a list of brand ambassadors and again, they don’t have to be ultra famous. They can be a teacher who has a large following and became a thought leader on social media. Message them ahead of time and let them know what you’re planning to do. Work together and they might be able to refer you to other folks,” shared Li Sam.

In her recent Forbes mention, Li Sam shared an interesting tool – Buzzsumo. “You can use Buzzsumo to look for your competitor’s most popular articles and also any trending articles based on your keyword search. Use the free trial to look up for influencers who share these articles and compile a list of influencers to reach out to.” When you’re working with these influencers make sure that they have good engagement. Engagement matters more than total followers because a smaller influencer with an engaged following will outperform larger influencers with less engagement. You have to be able to measure how many people you are actually reaching.

LAS VEGAS, NV – 29 Sep, 2017 – The highly anticipated social deduction game Throne of Lies: The Online Game of Deceit launches with PC, Mac and Linux support today at noon PST. The 3D, online multiplayer game is the next evolutionary step of the tabletop, social deductions genre started by classic hit Werewolf/Mafia in the 1980s. Throne of Lies is a throwback to those days where friends could gather around to stab each other in the back.

Through the game’s beta test, thousands of players have already experienced the game first-hand and become an integral part of shaping the game by testing its mechanics, creating lore for more than 40 classes and even creating some of the 100+ abilities.

Throne of Lies came to prominence early this year when it raised over $20,000 in funding via a successful Kickstarter campaign and was approved for Steam Greenlight by members of the largest PC gaming distribution platform in the world.

The objective of Throne of Lies is for the noble members of the Blue Dragon faction to use their investigative abilities and logical reasoning skills to root out the traitors in their midst. During each game, hidden members of the wicked Cult or the mysterious Unseen faction will attempt to convert the court’s loyal subjects to their side and kill those who oppose them.

Up to 16 players per game are randomly assigned to a class, ranging from the King himself to a hapless Fool. While members of the Cult and Unseen will know their allies, members of the Blue Dragon must be suspicious of every other player to ensure that they don’t fall to an evil plot. Even the King is suspect in Throne of Lies, as he could be working secretly for the enemy.

But things are not that straightforward. To make matters more intriguing, eight Neutral classes exist with their own selfish objectives to complete. While this may be as simple as ensuring their own survival, their objective may be to surreptitiously eradicate everyone at the table.

A player’s journey in Throne of Lies does not end with death because powerful in-game abilities allow players to speak with the dead or even resurrect them to rejoin the fight and tell the tale of their downfall. All players will also be allowed to inspect dead player’s journals to unlock important clues and expose the comings and goings of other players.
