The long wait is almost over. A few days after Daniel Biro made his fans shudder with joy by announcing that his new album, ‘120 – onetwenty’, would be released worldwide on 16th February 2018. The album is released by experimental music label Sargasso and will be available for order on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and all digital channels. The album is available in several formats such as standard digi-pack CD, Limited/Numbered/Signed boxed edition (only from www.danielbiro.com) and digital streaming/download formats.

‘120 – onetwenty’ is dedicated to Biro’s brother Nico who originally introduced him to music but who sadly died a few years ago. Daniel Biro put in 6 years of hard work to record this 1-hour instrumental vintage keyboards suite. Over the course of the album, Daniel Biro sculpts the sound of a long-lost classic, with tremendously powerful keyboard work.

Daniel Biro describes ‘120 – onetwenty’ as one of his most ambitious records to date. This new album showcases the beauty of analog vintage keyboards like Rhodes electric piano, Moog and Roland synths, Clavinets, Hammonds. The album is a true testament to Biro’s passion. He believes in creating music that is accessible to everyone, that inspires consciousness, freedom of thought and freedom of creation,

Years of consistent Jazz training has helped Biro develop his keyboard skills. His music is both uplifting and deeply moving, while his far-reaching skills exude feeling and emotion, with a really expressive sense of musicianship, inspired by 1970s classic electronic/analogue synths artists (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk, Vangelis), electric jazz-rock/fusion (Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, Herbie Hancock), progressive experimental rock (Soft Machine, Mike Oldfield, King Crimson) and ambient minimalist composers (Steve Reich, Brian Eno, Philip Glass, ECM jazz label).

120 – Onetwenty is a remarkable instrumental album that strolls with ease and charm between electronica and progressive fusion. Daniel Biro brings together three of the greatest progressive music traditions: Berlin-style electronics, prog rock synths, and jazz fusion keyboards.
