Kiev, Ukraine – On November 18 2015, Anna launched a Kickstarter campaign for Ohhio, a design studio focused on creating handmade product for customers who are looking for individual, truly high quality items. Currently they are raising money to introduce a unique line of super soft and smooth knitted blankets and cowls.
“We use only three things to create our amazing, dreamlike Ohhio clouds: our own hands, 100% merino wool, and -most importantly- inspiration,” says the team, “We didn’t create another home accessory to collect dust in the corner. Just touch these big warm stitches and you won’t be able to keep from smiling.”
Ohhio’s story began last year. Its creator, Anna, began experimenting with exceptionally soft and luxurious merino wool yarn. The material’s distinctive properties gave her the creative impulse to knit the first Ohhio blanket. Since then they have become more experienced, but no less sensitive, in creating simple and honest things.
The Ohhio team has been creating these wonderful products for 11 months. Their handmade blankets are cozy during the cold weather and will not only warm you up, but will also be an outstanding decoration of your interior. For this Kickstarter campaign, Ohhio blankets and cowls are available in seven colors: yellow, pink, blue, light gray, white, dark gray, and green.
“We are confident about the future and we would like to expand production. Our main goal is to make the product available to the public,” Anna explains, “We want to increase our production capabilities, which is why we have turned to Kickstarter for help. Our product is simple and true. We want to keep that sincerity and the simplicity and improve it with the help of technical capabilities.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including an early bird Ohhio cowl in the color of your choice for $70 (or the regular Kickstarter price of $80), two Ohhio cowls for $150, and more. Backers can also pledge as little as $204 for a Small Ohhio blanket, $307 for a Medium Ohhio blanket, or $420 for a Large Ohhio blanket.
