London, UK – On February 22nd, James Clark and Lucy Bartlett launched a Kickstarter campaign for Bundle Beds®, the brand new portable bed that doesn’t compromise on comfort.
“Having been the type of camper who takes an airbed, duvet, pillow, sheets, rugs and cozy accessories for a night away, I was sick of how much room it all took up in the car, how difficult it was to set up, and how messy it all got outside of the tent,” says Lucy, “With lots of attempts at prototypes with James, the help of a fantastic factory and many conversations with friends, we feel like we’ve come up with a solution to a comfortable night away. The Bundle Bed® is designed for people who like the comfort of their own bed, rolled out in seconds. James Clark and Lucy Bartlett are the co-founders of Bundle Beds Ltd. They love camping, travelling, having friends over and most of all, they love a good night’s sleep. Until now, portable beds have been uncomfortable, bulky or hard to set up. So, the team behind the Bundle Bed® decided to create a portable, comfortable and convenient solution for the perfect night away.
The Bundle Bed® is a ready-made bed with a 5cm thick, ultra comfortable self-inflating mattress, brushed cotton sheets, 15-TOG hydrophobic duvet and comfy pillow, all encased in a water resistant outer layer. There is no need for pumps or stuffing a bunch of things into storage bags at the end of the trip – the Bundle Bed® rolls up in to a neat bundle which can be carried using the shoulder strap or handle. These beds are perfect for adventurous adults, last-minute visits to/from friends, and for kids to take on sleepovers.
